Rockin’ The
Gardens FREE summer concert series, welcomes Hazel
Miller and her band to the stage this Friday from 5:30 -
9:30 pm. Whether she is singing blues, jazz, pop or
gospel, Hazel's voice charges the songs with a primal
dose of genuine soul. A regular performer on the ETown
Radio Show, which aired on NPR, and opener for Big Head
Todd’s national tours, Hazel has also sung with or
opened for such popular performers as Julian Lennon,
Peter, Paul and Mary, Herbie Hancock, Lou Rawls, Rickie
Lee Jones and James Taylor. Hazel and her band are
masters at funk, R&B and jazz and were chosen by the
Westword Readers’ Poll as the "Best Blues/R&B" band for
three consecutive years.
